Peke-Faced Cats

This breed is rather controversial, and is really an ultra-types Persian. The breed is in this section, as some of the traits it displays are not desirable of a Persian longhair. The nose is short and nearly flat to the face. There is a very strong indentation between the eyes, which gives a furrowed brow and causes the eyes to be large and protruding.

This breed is only seen in America, although there are some ultra-type Persians bred in the UK, but not to such an extreme.

In temperaments and character, they are very similar to the Persian Longhairs but are regarded as a different breed. They are available in all the same colours as Persian cats.
